Under Alabama Law most agencies, boards, bureaus and commissions are reviewed every four years to determin if their function is still needed.  This year the State Oil & Gas Board is up for review. 

 

The Joint Sunset Committee has a hearing scheduled for August 27,2009, in Montgomery.  The CMAA will be present and make comments at the hearing in support of the OGB.
